Thanks for stopping by everyone. I'll start updating again.

| I have seen the future, and it is blowfish shabu shabu. Shabu shabu is where you dip vegetables and meat in a hot pot and then eat them with different sauces. I love this meal, because it includes three or four parts-- first the meat, then the vegetables, then you add noodles to the broth for a rich noodle soup, and finally they bring you some rice to make rice porridge. I love the shabu shabu process, but can never get the flavors just right...until now.

First you take a piece of fish and swish it around in the broth.

Then eat!
The taste is mild but delicious. | | |
| Hello blog, good to see you again. A short list of what has been happening these past few weeks--
1. Our computer broke down. Now we have one on loan from Janice, so we have the precious internet back. 2. There was a nice visit from Janice. Lots of eating and merriment. 3. We have been packing boxes and shipping things home.
I haven't completely given up on this blog, but these next few weeks will be very busy. This weekend is Lunar New Year, which means we have some time off. I predict lots of packing and cleaning (and maybe some really good french fries). I'm going to try to squeeze in a few more entries before we leave. Photos next time!

| Last Sunday I spent the day with some of my old high school students. They are all so grown up and are headed off to college soon.
My kids. Left to right-- Jiwon, Young, Min, Tae Joon, Sun Kyu, Junsoo, Se Young, Keun Woo, Jun Young, Tae Keun, Yun Gu, Mr. Butterson, Jamie, and Bo Kyung. Whew! It was wonderful to see them all!!
The King of Bingsu- its actual name. We ordered 3 of these and polished them off. All in all a fabulous day!!
